The room everyone ends up in

A kitchen that fits how you live now.

A lot of east bench kitchens were built 30 to 60 years ago. The cabinets are tired, the layout is closed off, and the lighting is one fixture in the middle of the ceiling.

Alpha Homes rebuilds the whole room: layout, cabinets, counters, tile, lighting, plumbing and electrical. One crew does the work, so you are not chasing five trades.

What goes into it

From the layout to the last light.

Most kitchen jobs start with one question: does a wall need to come out? From there the plan is cabinets, stone, tile and light.

  • Wall removal and open layouts, with beams and permits
  • Cabinets, islands and stone counters
  • Tile, backsplash, lighting and fixtures
  • Plumbing, gas and electrical moved where you need them

City by city

Kitchen remodeling in your city.

The houses change from city to city, and so do the permit rules. Pick yours.

Kitchen remodeling in Sandy →

Sandy's own list says cabinets, counters and tile do not need a permit. Moving walls, plumbing or gas does.

Kitchen remodeling in Draper →

Draper grew from about 7,000 people in 1990 to over 51,000 in 2020, so most kitchens here are original builder kitchens.

Kitchen remodeling in Holladay →

Holladay homes average nearly twice the county's size, and the city's own plan points to its post-war ranch homes.

Kitchen remodeling in Cottonwood Heights →

Half the homes here were built from 1960 to 1980, so many kitchens are 45 years old or more.

Questions

Kitchen questions.

Do I need a permit for a kitchen remodel?
It depends on the work. New cabinets, counters and tile often do not need one. Moving a wall, plumbing, gas or electrical does. We tell you at the walkthrough and pull the permit when it is needed.
Can you take out the wall between my kitchen and living room?
Usually, yes. If the wall carries weight, it needs a beam, engineered plans and a permit. We handle all of it so the open kitchen is built right.
Do you do the whole house too?
Yes. A lot of kitchen jobs turn into more once the plan comes together. We can price the kitchen on its own or as part of a bigger remodel.
How do I get a price?
Enter your ZIP code on this page. Tanner will reach out, walk the kitchen with you and give you one clear price in writing.
